Our Furnished Apartments and Home-stays in Nairobi

We have limited student accommodation in Nairobi for our international students. This will save you the trouble of trying to look for accommodation by yourself, therefore, this saves you time to settle and focus on your study.
Our accommodation is arranged mainly in modern and comfortable apartments and home-stays with providing a great place to live with fantastic surroundings in some carefully selected areas.
These areas have excellent surroundings and social facilities. This guarantees your safety and comfort.
For accommodation, there are three possible options, depending on your preference:

  • · Family home-stays accommodation near the center at a cost from 300 USD – 500 USD per month (room + cleaning service).
  • Private Studios near the center at a price starting from USD 500 per month.
  • Qwetu student residences https://qwetu.co.ke/student-accommodation/hurlingham.

Qwetu student residence is just about 10-15 minutes drive by car. We have a car dedicated to our students at a price of USD 100 per month (round trip).

NB: For home-stays, you’ll live in a host family but you’ll have your own all en-suite room with a private toilet and bathroom in a safe zone (UN recommended blue-zone, see https://www.unklesa.org/housing).

Each student is expected to prepare their own meals of their choice. However, some students request to eat with the family on half-board or full board basis at an extra cost. The rooms are well connected with good speed internet connections, usually about 20 MBps.
Moreover, we provide FREE high speed internet. Electricity, water and internet are included in the rent.
Kindly note that our rooms are limited. We encourage you to inquire early enough and make your reservation at least 2 weeks before arrival.
Students staying more that 6 weeks will be required to pay a refundable caution deposit equivalent to 1 month’s rent.
This will be refunded upon departure, after the condition of the room has been inspected and ascertained to be in good condition as you found it.
In case the room has some broken items, they will be fixed from your caution deposit, so you are advised to take good care of your room plus items therein.
